This weekend we went to the Monster Truck show at Marathon Park in Wausau! It ended up being beautiful weather after a chilly week, even a little too hot before the clouds came in.

The entire park was packed- it seemed like all of Wausau was there! We moved to the Wausau area last winter, and I love how many events there are; it seems like almost every weekend there is something fun going on. And I haven’t seen an event yet that wasn’t well-attended. I don’t know which lines were longer- the food truck lines or the line for a ride on a Monster Truck! The entire show was awesome though, and definitely worth the lines for snacks.

We opted for VIP tickets to let our son, Everett, see the trucks up close during the pit party, which also meant we got to sit close to the track. I managed to get some awesome photos of all the action! The best part- I was able to share the pictures with Triple B Motorsports- the team of Monster Trucks that made up the majority of the show- and the drivers of the trucks. It was a little tricky with all the fans in front of me waving their flags, but I managed to use some of the flags as foreground and accents… and some of the flags just got in the way, but they ended up looking really cool anyway.
