Dreamy Leaves in Spring
I just love these dreamy leaves, with all the blur and bokeh in the background! This right here is why I needed a macro lens. And yes, it was definitely a need versus a want!
Discovering all the beautiful plants as they bloom is by far my favorite part of our new house in Wausau. I am so grateful for the work and care the family before us put into cultivating a gorgeous yard filled with life and color.
I’ve been trying to find out the names of the plants and flowers that are growing here. This one looks to be a Sorbaria Sorbifolia, or a False Spirea. I have seen these so many times, but I don’t think I’ve ever paid so much attention to them. I like the way that nature photography really helps me soak in the beauty of the Earth and learn more about this amazing planet. I’ve honestly never been very good with plants- whether naming them or growing them, so I guess this is the start of me becoming a plant lady!
Enjoy these vibrant colors while they last!
